A Persian wedding styling a Sofreh Aghd table
Last year I worked with wedding planner, Bruce Russell on a stunning wedding with a Pakistani and Persian couple (who live between London and America). The wedding was a spectacular 4-day event with parties at Kensington Palace and The Dorchester, and with leading wedding suppliers including Nikki Tibbles for Wild At Heart and Rosalind Miller Cakes.
The central wedding ceremony needed a beautiful Sofreh Aghd table to reflect the bride's Persian heritage, and I worked closely with the couple to create something which not only looked simply luxe but included all the traditional symbolic elements.
I absolutely loved learning about the Sofreh Aghd table and everyone was thrilled with the finishing look which included a floral covering by Wildabout Flowers.
